It all comes down to this.
I lie on my bed as I think about you once again.
I hear the rain pouring down as it taps against the window.
I dream of we'll be together one day...maybe...
I want to be the light in your eyes, like lightning flashing against the shadows in the night sky.
-A beautiful sight, isn't it?
I want to be the warmth int your soul like the sun on your face.
I see us together, holding hands, dancing in the rain...
as the world falls away, there is nothing else but us...together.
"I've wanted this all my life," I say, looking into your eyes as you pull me close to you, as we stand still hoping that this moment would last forever.
You look down into my eyes, holding my face in your hands, as we kiss it seems that nothing else matters.
I want to be the love in your heart...if we do end up together....and fall in love.
The rain grows louder now as I sit and wait.
Even as I write this poem.....I wait...
I sit and listen to the silence as the rain fades away...
I think about you time to time only to wish of this even more.
